Height-adjustable seat, Padded harnesses and restraints, Mesh sun canopy Mulitple storage pockets,Sturdy kickstand - I know you're not taking your kid out to watch live MMA Cage Fights - but this is actually a diaper bag you could carry to one of those fights and not get your own ass kicked in the process. Yes, it has a diaper bag attached to it - and a place to put your kid. It is a good stroller replacement - my favorite use for this is during parades, going to the zoo (we have lots of apple orchards nearby) - going to the beach. Anyplace it would be a pain for your tot to be walking around by herself - and hard to push a stroller. Indoors, this is much better than a stroller where there are lots of steps. Be careful of low ceilings though.
Donald F says: It took me years to find the best carrier for my now-14-year-old. He was 5 by the time I located the Madden Mountaineering product, the only one that was sufficiently sturdy to carry a 40-50-pound kid--important for serious hikers who want to share longer trips with a child whose little legs tire after a couple of miles. It was a great product, way better than the others I had used. Fastforward to 2010 and a new baby. The Madden carrier was long gone. but Sherpani, it seems, had taken over the product. Wow. This carrier has everything the old one had and more--extreme comfort and adjustability for hiker and rider alike. It has unrivaled capacity for extra gear, with a large pocket and a detachable daypack for a toddler to carry on the walking parts of a hike. Everything works, and works well. And my younger son loves it. Unlike his big brother, he will have only the best ride for the next 5-plus years. Don't mess around. Get this pack now and save yourself the trouble of working through the second-best. Mine showed up in CA in a couple of days.
